On April 26, 2013, the Board of Directors of American States Water
Company (NYSE:AWR) approved a quarterly dividend of $0.355 per share on
the Common Shares of the Company. This action marks the 308th
consecutive dividend payment by the Company. For more than 58
consecutive years, American States Water Company shareholders have
received an increase in their aggregate annual dividend. Dividends on
the Common Shares will be payable on June 1, 2013 to shareholders of
record at the close of business on May 15, 2013.
American States Water Company also announced today that the Company will
release its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013
on Friday, May 10, 2013, followed by a conference call at 1:00 p.m.
Eastern Time (10:00 a.m. Pacific Time), during which management will be
making a brief presentation. Interested parties can listen to the live
conference call over the Internet by logging on to www.aswater.com.
